KISS
Army Slovakia by Robert Ivanko
Hi KISS Nation,
Last weekend we organized our
annual meeting of KISS fans in Slovakia. We played videos, conversed and
exchanged KISS merchandise. I have tried to keep the phenomenon KISS in
Slovakia, because KISS were not in Europe for 9 years. I was excited that our
meeting also attracted a young generation. We remembered Paul’s birthday and
wished to him good health and good songs! I am excited about KISS concerts in
Europe! I hope we will see the bombastic live KISS show together with the new
young fans.
Yours sincerely, Robert Ivanko from Slovakia (Slovak Republic)

MAP " Here you can see a map of Europe with all cities
drawn in, where so far it is rumoured, that Kiss will play there. It includes
also Sweden Rock in the south of Sweden and Prague (where you can count on a
show to take place too). Considering the rumoured dates you can imagine, that
there will be additional dates. But the one or the other date may not be booked
at the end. It is all speculation at this point
Thanks for Map Gerrhard Wimmer !

BILL
BAKER'S ACE FREHLEY ARCHIVES UPDATE
m
Bill Bakill Baker is back with his first update of 20eeing as it was a New Year,
he site a new look. Hope everyone out So what’s new on our planet? The all new Fractured Mirror 2
disc DVD set. This set covers all the eras of the world's only Ace Frehley
tribute band from the beginning up to the last show. We went through all of the
video we had, and picked out quite a variety of songs and clips. It also shows
the Ace Frehley Archives museum that was featured at many of the 90's Kiss
Expos, rare rehearsal footage of Fractured Mirror and unreleased Ace Frehley
concert footage that came direct from Bill Baker's Archives. A must for any Ace
fan!
We also have a source for
Lightning Bolt guitar straps, made by Jodi Head and a replica Ace Love Gun
costume, made by 'Space Ace' Paul Helms. This replica costume is the best that
is out there on the market! Check the photos out and see for yourself.
With the Ace Frehley 'Ultimate Fan
Scrapbook' still in the works, (but getting closer to being done...) I've dug
into my Archives and now have another 2 pages of Ace photos for all you fans to
see. Some rare old Kiss photos and Ace solo era photos are now online! Bill will
also be at the New York Kiss Expo on May 3rd and will be taking pre-orders
there, so stop by and say Hello!
We hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. Keep
checking back as we plan on adding some more rare Ace footage and a page on the
new documentary film "Kiss Loves You". Have you ordered it yet?
Rock on, Bill Baker

KISS' LAST TOUR IN THE MAKING? A
concert in Vienna at the beginning of the Tour is in negotiations, but not
confirmed yet. More dates are expected to be announced
soon (Prague, Budapest or festivals like Sweden Rock in early June or others
possibly), but a Swiss date seems to be unlikely. There
is a big secret being made about the line-up and/or if there will be something
new (new stage, effects, costumes, album...). For some reason for the first time
in almost a decade Kiss are going on a world tour again (negotiations are
supposedly also in South America for shows there and a US Tour follows in the
summer) and promoters are booking extremely large venues on this tour. Various
sources say: This is going to be the last Kiss Tour! Is
this just another Farewell trick or will they really be ending everything with
something special or is it just another rumour? More infos soon!
Here are all rumoured possible
dates known so far: May: Vienna - Stadthalle, Austria
(in negotiations) May 13 (?): Verona's Arena, Italy
(rumour) May 15 (?): Beograd, Serbia (rumour) May 18 (?): Greece (not sure yet) May 24: Moscow - Olympic stadium (confirmed) May 26: St. Petersburg - Leodyj Dvorec (confirmed) May 28 (?): Helsinki-Hartwall Arena (rumour) May 30: Stockholm: Olympia stadium (very likely) ??. May/June: Norway (rumour) ??.
May/June: Tallin (Estonia) (rumour) May 13: Download
Festival, England (very likely) May 15: Arrow Festival,
Nijmegen, Holland (very likely)

Kiss Faq - January 15 - - 13h00-
After his mini tour in December, Ace's band is due back in
the studio imminently to finish recording his first solo album since "Trouble
Walkin'" in 1989. Some song titles that may (or may not) turn up in conjuntion
with this album are "Pain In The Neck," "The King Is Kong," and "You Make It
Hard For Me." That title dates back to a 1985 Ace Frehley/Marty Kupersmith
composition that was released on Marty's 1997 album "It'll Come To You."
However, during the "Psycho Circus" era back with KISS Ace wrote a song with the
same title with Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row). Intended (at one point) to be
included on the "Psycho Circus" album, having apparently made it so far as to
attain the approval of producer Bruce Fairbairn, the song was eventually
dropped, so there may be a bit of recycling with this one. If the song does get
release on Ace's album, then Sebastian should be pleased! "The King Is Kong"
also seems reminiscent of a certain pre-KISS band of Ace's: "King Kong," but at
this point... Who knows! Naturally, these titles are unconfirmed, and anyway if
they're correct they could be changed or even dropped from prospective
use.
